About chriseberle.net
Hi There. I'm Chris Eberle, and I run this site. I got into photography a few years ago and I've been slowly improving my skills. I started this photo blog as a place to show off my photography, as well as a visual record of my abilities (my theory being that my newer photos should be better than my older ones). I'll try to only post my very best pictures. If you are a photographer I'd appreciate any input, tips, pointers, suggestions, or anything else you'd like to contribute.
Of course the other half of this hobby is Photoshop, which I enjoy equally as much. As I'm sure you can tell, I post-process pretty aggressively, but only for photos that are good to start with. My philosophy is to take a good picture and make it great. I don't believe photoshop can fix a fundamentally bad picture. Thus much of my more recent research in photography involves learning how to compose, expose, and generally make stunning photos from the start. But I digress. Photoshop rocks.
I do have another site where I post a more complete collection of all my photography. Much of it is family and friends, so odds are that unless you fall into that category most of them won't interest you. Still if you'd like to see them, the link is on the right.
Thanks for coming, enjoy your stay, and please leave some comments. Oh one last thing. I'm pretty easy-going about people using my photos, but please don't use them for anything commercial (unless you get my permission, of course). Everything on this site is covered under the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 United States License.
